STOCKTON UNIVERSITY’S HOSPITALITY, TOURISM, AND EVENT MANAGEMENT STUDENTS MARKET NJ SMALL BUSINESS, FREDDY J’S BAR & KITCHEN
Mays Landing, NJ- Stockton University Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management Students market a small business, Freddy J’s for a semester-long project. The students have been reviewing the key points in marketing to build brand awareness, increase revenue, and technology advances.
Freddy J’s Creative Director, Grant Kneble, stated,
I am trying to learn as much as possible from the Stockton University
students in order to keep up with the current economic restaurant trends.
Stockton students will be submitting their suggestions:
- New Point of Sales System [POS]
- Marketing demographics
- Signage
- Allotting for overflow of customers
- Building customer loyalty
- Brand engagement
- Reviews on search engines
My overall goal is to have a restaurant where the community has an emotional connection. I would like to reach a wider target audience by catering to all age groups and demographics. Freddy J’s is a family-owned business, but we would like to keep things light and fun for all to enjoy
This marketing project will help guide us in the right direction and place us on the map in NJ.
