Dear Valued Freddy J’s Patrons and Esteemed Members of the Mays Landing Cornhole League,
We find ourselves in a position to share some disheartening news with you. Regrettably, we can no longer allow parking in the vacant lot between Freddy J’s Bar & Kitchen and Kneble’s Auto Service Center.
Despite our unwavering commitment to providing the utmost convenience and safety for our esteemed patrons and league members, we have been met with unyielding opposition from the city of Mays Landing.
The city has cited us numerous times for utilizing the area, as mentioned earlier, for parking, a space not officially designated for such use.
Despite our appeals for a temporary parking status, we have been denied, with the city insisting on a detailed site plan.
While we are wholeheartedly committed to complying with all regulations and providing such a plan, our hands are tied until our forthcoming meeting with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, where we aim to develop a comprehensive and compliant site plan.
Regrettably, the city has chosen to escalate this matter to the courts, diverting our time and resources from the community-focused initiatives we are passionate about.
Given these circumstances, we find ourselves forced to adhere to the city’s inflexible and seemingly biased rules, prioritizing our legal obligations over our genuine desire to enhance the community experience at Freddy J’s and the Mays Landing Cornhole League.
We sincerely thank you for your unwavering support and understanding in these trying times. We remain dedicated to fostering a vibrant community spirit and ensuring your experiences at Freddy J’s and the Cornhole League will be enjoyable, safe, and memorable.
Rest assured, we will continue to work towards a favorable resolution of this situation ardently, hoping to resume normalcy as soon as possible. In the meantime, your cooperation and continued support are appreciated and integral to our beloved establishments’ enduring success and vitality.
We kindly request all our guests to park within the designated parking areas at Freddy J’s.
Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances, any overflow parking will now have to utilize the available public parking on Old River Road, River Drive, Atlantic Avenue, and Mays Landing-Somers Point Road.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Thank you for your continued support and patronage.
With sincere gratitude,
Freddy J’s Bar & Kitchen
