Taste Atlantic City at Freddy J’s

Taste Atlantic City (formerly Atlantic City Restaurant Week) is a month-long dining event across Atlantic County every March. Over 70 restaurants participate with specially priced multi-course menus. Freddy J’s has been part of it every year since 2021.

Our 2026 Menu

We ran three prix fixe tiers during Taste Atlantic City 2026, available throughout March.

$20 per person (12pm to 3pm)

First course (choose one): Cornbread Bites with cinnamon honey butter, or French Onion Soup with crostini and provolone.

Main course (choose one): Half Smoked Chicken Cheesesteak with Cooper Sharp cheese sauce and bourbon barrel BBQ on a seeded long roll. Nancy’s House Salad with candied walnuts, cranberries, bacon, and blue cheese. Or a Quarter Pound Cheeseburger, Pat LaFrieda beef with Cooper Sharp on a brioche bun and fries.

Dessert: S’mores Bread Pudding with chocolate chips, marshmallows, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, and whipped cream.

$30 per person (3pm to 10pm)

First course (choose one): French Onion Soup. Caesar Salad with shaved parmesan. Or Chicken Empanada, three golden fried empanadas with smoked pulled chicken, cheddar, and chipotle lime ranch.

Main course (choose one): Nashville Chicken Sandwich with spicy hot oil and house pickles on brioche. Homestyle Fried Chicken Bowl with mashed potatoes, country gravy, bacon, and corn. Or a Half Pound Cheeseburger, two Pat LaFrieda patties with Cooper Sharp and fries.

Dessert: Chef’s Choice.

$45 per person (3pm to 10pm)

First course (choose one): Jay Jay’s Shrimp, beer-battered with Firecracker sauce. Smoked Texas Twinkies, smoked jalapenos stuffed with brisket and cream cheese wrapped in bacon. Or Nancy’s House Salad.

Main course (choose one): Smoked Brisket Cheesesteak with bourbon BBQ and Cooper Sharp cheese sauce on a seeded long roll. Mom-Mom’s Smoked Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, baked beans, bourbon BBQ, and Caribbean sweet cornbread. Or the Homestyle Chicken Platter with fried thigh, tenders, mashed potatoes, gravy, baked beans, and cornbread.

Dessert: Chef’s Choice.
