As you step into Freddy J’s, soft candlelight and gentle Italian melodies set the mood for a journey to the rolling hills of Northern Italy. This month’s Dinner Club invites you to experience rustic elegance, where each plate evokes the timeless traditions of Piemonte, Lombardy, and beyond. Imagine vineyards at sunrise, the aroma of fresh herbs in a stone courtyard, and a table laid with handcrafted dishes that celebrate simplicity and soul.


The Experience

Join us on Wednesday, June 25, at 6:00 PM for an evening of Northern Italian mastery. Our chef has crafted four courses that blend regional favorites with Freddy J’s signature smokehouse soul. Each course is accompanied by a carefully selected Italian wine, chosen to complement the flavors and enhance your dining experience. Whether you’ve traveled the backroads of Trentino or are new to these legendary tastes, you’ll feel as though you’re dining alfresco by Lake Como.


Menu & Wine Pairings

Amuse-Bouche: Smoked Mozzarella Stuffed Meatball

Hand-rolled meatball reveals a molten center of smoky mozzarella, kissed by a hint of basil and sea salt. This bite awakens the palate, perfectly complemented by a sparkling wine that adds bright effervescence.

Salad: Italian Chopped Salad

Crisp romaine tossed with vine-ripe tomatoes, shaved red onions, pepperoncini, and crumbled gorgonzola, all balanced by a drizzle of aged Italian vinaigrette, smoked mozzarella, and ribbons of prosciutto. Maschio Extra Dry Prosecco brings lively bubbles to accentuate each fresh note.

Starter: Pear & Prosciutto Ravioli

Delicate ravioli pillows cradle sweet pear and silky prosciutto, bathed in sage-infused cream and dotted with vibrant spring peas. Crispy prosciutto shards lend a satisfying crunch. Banfi Le Rime Pinot Grigio introduces bright acidity and floral aromatics.

Dinner: Osso Bucco alla Milanese

Braised veal shank falls from the bone, served atop golden saffron risotto that perfectly embodies Lombard tradition. Seasonal vegetables add a pop of color and texture.

Cecchi Sangiovese offers ripe cherry and earthy tannins, grounding the dish in the warmth of Tuscany.

Dessert: Italian Rum Cake

A moist sponge laced with aged rum, studded with candied orange peel, and served alongside a frothy Cipriani Bellini that marries peach nectar with Prosecco. The delicate sweetness and gentle fizz bring this Northern Italian evening to a close that is unforgettable.
