But for the United States Postal Service\, the chaos doesn’t stop there. \n\n\n\nYou survived the holiday rush—the endless stacks of greeting cards\, the overflow of packages\, and the lines out the door. But then\, you had to face the second wave: Returns Season. \n\n\n\nWe know that January is just as full of “Return to Sender” labels\, Certified Letters\, and heavy boxes as December. That is exactly why we waited until Saturday\, January 17th\, to throw this party. We wanted to ensure the sorting machines were slowing down and the satchels were a little lighter\, so you could take a night off. \n\n\n\nIt’s Time to Clock Out\n\n\n\nWe are hosting our official Post Office and Delivery Driver Appreciation Night here at Freddy J’s. \n\n\n\nWe are calling it the “Thanks For Not Going Postal This Holiday Season” Party\, and it is our way of saying a massive thank you to the people who keep our community connected. \n\n\n\nThis night is specifically dedicated to: \n\n\n\n\nThe United States Postal Service (USPS): This is for the Window Clerks dealing with the lines\, the Mail Handlers sorting the chaos\, and the City & Rural Carriers walking the routes in the rain\, sleet\, and snow.\n\n\n\nDelivery Drivers: The crews from UPS\, FedEx\, DHL\, Amazon\, and Walmart who kept the trucks moving.\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n\n\nLeave the scanner at the station and the uniform at home (unless you want to show it off). We will have drink specials running all night long\, exclusively for postal employees and delivery drivers. \n\n\n\nWhether you work the counter\, walk the beat\, or drive the big trucks\, your money goes a little further with us tonight.
